I’m guessing it’s jsut a very complex camo setup and that the render is incorrect, but whoa. Very shocking.

I like it more than the new 3 series, in a weird way? I think? I dunno I’m confused.

The CGI model looks very weird but I think that the camouflage has fooled the CGI dude. Still bett er than the “ recently presented rodent teeth models” but only barely . But I’m guessing that actual model will have a huge grille and it will look sillier . BMW just keeps drifting further away from my visual tastes.

What’s wrong with the new 3-series? I think it looks fine (if very much like a 5-series.) Just the M3 and the 4-series that suck to look at. That’s why they changed their tagline to:

Do you like “fun?”

Then you’ll put up with “Ugly”

Oh, must be my typo or just rushed writing - yes I meant the M3 and 4 series. The ugly pig snout awful ones. That 5 series (wink, wink) you posted in the first pic is just fine as is, I don’t mind it. Nor love it.

Every new car looks the same I don’t even care anymore tbh. I was resentful of that type of thinking for a loong time, but I think I’m just done with it all. I’m joining the boomers in sayin ThEy dOn’t MaKE eM LikE tHeY usED TO!

I bet that even the driving dynamics between all new performance or just slightly sporty cars are the same. - be it an M4, a LexusGenesis whatever, the electric Audi Sportback eTron, a Mclaren Mp720E55tail, the fast Ford Focus or Golf R or even the biggest Merc GL-whatever AMG - all of these have just morphed into “new car ® ” to me. They are completely different categories, and yet they are just all so incredibly fast and impressive that they all just level out to me - speaking as a complete bystander, someone not even close to a consumer. I don’t plan on buying a new car for a long time, so I think I have become desensitized to the whole new car scene. They all feel so sterile and at the same time crazy fast and advanced and impressive. I also have no experienced in driving new cars since 2016., so again - I’m just a bystander enthusiast.

I just have no interest in new cars, anymore, as a general rule. Some exceptions peak my curiosity though - The Honda E, the new Bronco, the Cybertruck or the upcoming Datsun Z is something that excites me, for example.

This new rendering of the 7 series came as such a surprise because I’m used to the same-ish design language from BMW that this one seems like even a bigger leap in a new direction than the pigsnout grille was. In the meantime I found these, maybe more probable rende s:
